Rugby and Netball Pool Player registration now open!

Want to play at Emirates Dubai 7s but don’t have a team? The Rugby and Netball Pool Player programmes are back, giving individuals the chance to join a squad and take part in the action.

How it works:

• Pool Players are for those arriving without a team but still keen to participate.

• A general admission ticket is required - once selected by a team, you’ll receive official player accreditation.

• Registered details will be shared with all participating teams, who may contact pool players directly if they need reinforcements.

• Players must commit to the first team that reaches out. Switching teams is not allowed, and refusal will result in removal from the pool list.

Time Commitment:
All Pool Players should be available for all three days of the tournament. While selection is not guaranteed, this ensures teams can reach out when they need players.

Key Dates:

• Application Deadline: Wednesday, 26 November 2025

• Onsite Registration: Players whose teams are knocked out during the tournament can register in person at the Registration Tent at The Sevens Stadium from Saturday, 29 November 2025.

This initiative gives every rugby and netball fan the chance to step onto the court or pitch and be part of the unforgettable Emirates Dubai 7s experience.
